Board Committees
These committees provide additional support to the school board and to Holy Family staff and students. The committees are comprised of board members and Holy Family community members identified by the school board for specific needs.
Advancement Committee
The advancement committee monitors and provides feedback to the Holy Family advancement office regarding the efforts and activities administered to garner support for Holy Family Catholic Schools. Through long-range planning, the committee maximizes Holy Family's fundraising potential, monitors the marketing plan, and develops methods to stabilize and increase enrollment.
Facilities Committee
The facilities and transportation committee continually evaluates system resources and recommends the most effective and efficient use of existing facilities, equipment and staff.
Finance Committee
The finance committee prepares and recommends a balanced budget to the school board. The committee reviews parish assessments, including the assessment formula; works for fair tuition and tuition assistance, and provides fair compensation and benefits for employees.
Human Resources Committee
The HR committee is focused on human resource topics and employee engagement.
Recruitment Committee
The Recruitment Committee works to enhance marketing efforts, establishes retention initiatives and develops community outreach activities with the goal to grow enrollment at Holy Family Catholic Schools. The group seeks to maintain a positive and welcoming culture for all families.
Religion and Mission Committee
The religion and mission committee works to encourage faith formation in families and ensure the Catholic identity is visible throughout the school environment. The committee plans family programs and workshops, promotes service activities and maintains communication lines with parishes.
School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC)
The School Improvement Advisory Committee is a community group to give stakeholder voice to school improvement goals and actions and make recommendations to the board. Based on the committee members' analysis of the needs assessment data, they make recommendations to the board about the following components:
- Major educational needs
- Student learning goals
- Long-range goals that include, but are not limited to, the state indicators that address reading, mathematics, and science achievement
- Harassment or bullying prevention goals, programs, training, and other initiatives
Student Services Committee
The student services committee reviews and maintains guidelines for students, which includes dress code and discipline issues. The committee reviews and approves the system-wide procedural handbooks and dress code policies on an annual basis.
