Children and Mental Health

Talking to our children about their mental health is important. It is as simple as asking them how they are feeling or what do they spend the most time worrying about. It is best to ask direct questions and explain to them that we are asking because we care about them. Children being able to verbally express what they are thinking or feeling helps them understand themselves better and relieves stress. It also strengthens their relationship with us as their parents.
