Holy Family Catholic Schools is blessed by a faithful, devoted community, and we couldn't be more thankful for the support we receive. Any gift, regardless of size, enhances our educational mission. You are an important partner in building our future.

Our Faith STO

The STO is a charitable organization that receives voluntary cash contributions from Iowa taxpayers and allocates those funds in tuition grants to Iowa school children, who in turn use those grants to attend one of the accredited non-public schools represented by the STO. At least ninety percent (90%) of the money received by an STO must go back out in tuition grants.

STO tuition grants benefit students living in households with income that does not exceed an amount equal to three times the federal poverty guidelines for their family size.

The tuition grants created by the STO program will be a choice to those families who would have otherwise been unable to choose private education.

Memorial Gifts

A gift in honor or memory of a friend or loved one can be a meaningful way to contribute to Holy Family. An honor or memorial gift can be made to the designation of your choice or be left unrestricted to the Student Impact Fund.

How to make a memorial gift:

Mail a check/cash with a note inside of who it is in honor of to Holy Family Catholic Schools, Attn: Advancement Office, 2005 Kane Street, Dubuque, IA 52001.
Give online and check the box for "Tribute Gift" and enter the person's name.

Gifts In-Kind

Non-cash gifts of property such as equipment, books, computers, etc. also make wonderful gifts. The fair market value of such items is deductible for income tax purposes. A formal appraisal is required by the IRS for gifts in kind valued at over $5,000.

In-kind gifts such as trips, vacation homes, sport or concert tickets, and luxury goods may be used as a Circle of Celebration auction item.
